October 4 Rotary fundraiser supports local nonprofits, youth programs and
community service projects
The classic cars may get the attention, but the real purpose behind the 22nd Annual Laguna Beach Classic Car Show & Oktoberfest is giving back.
On Sunday, October 4, 2026, the Rotary Club of Laguna Beach will bring classic and collectible cars, Oktoberfest festivities and the community together for one of the club’s signature fundraising events. Proceeds help fund Rotary grants and service projects benefiting organizations throughout Laguna Beach and the surrounding community, as well as international projects.
The event runs from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 551 Forest Avenue, across from the Festival of Arts.
Classic Cars Meet Oktoberfest
The day will feature an impressive lineup of classic and collectible cars, a live German band, Biergarten, German food and activities for the kids.
Fans of American Graffiti also can meet Jana Bellan, who played carhop “Buddha” in the iconic film. Bellan will be at the show meeting fans and offering autographs and photographs.
Also available at the show will be car show art coasters and trivets, the club’s popular Laguna Beach puzzle, and a Best & Final opportunity featuring items, experiences and gift cards donated by local merchants. Official event t-shirts will be available for purchase as well.
A Car Show with a Purpose
Funds raised through the Car Show & Oktoberfest allow the Rotary Club of Laguna Beach to provide grants to local nonprofits and support youth, community and service initiatives throughout the year.
This year, visitors will have an opportunity to meet some of the nonprofit organizations whose work has been supported by the Rotary Club of Laguna Beach.
LOCA Arts Education brings arts education and creative experiences to people throughout the community.
Project Foster provides suitcases filled with essential items for children entering foster care, helping give them dignity and comfort during a difficult transition.
Veterans Legal Institute provides free legal services to homeless, at-risk and low-income veterans, helping remove legal barriers to housing, healthcare, education and employment.
Representatives from the organizations will have booths at the event, giving attendees a chance to meet them, learn more about their work and see firsthand how community support makes a difference.
The Laguna Beach Police Department and event sponsor Southern California Edison, also will have booths at the show.
From purchasing a ticket or registering a car to buying something at the Rotary booth, participating in the Laguna Beach Classic Car Show & Oktoberfest helps Rotary put funds back into the community.
