Ergrow West Coast 4/20 Launch Party

Ergrow Systems, LLC, announces its relocation of headquarters from Kennebunk, Maine to the Los Angeles area. The official Launch Party for the new business hub is scheduled for April 20th, the international cannabis holiday, at a private venue in the Laguna Beach area.

Ergrow addresses ergonomics and efficiency in horticulture, with the result of improving comfort for the employee, and the bottom line for the employer.

Brian Ritchie, CEO and Founder of Ergrow, said:

Ergrow is the first company to combine these two different fields of workplace improvement into one cohesive philosophy, and apply it to horticulture, agriculture, and cannabis production in particular.  Ergrow’s relocation to the heart of the cannabis industry’s largest playing field allows it to expand product innovation and field testing, with direct collaboration and input from cultivators and other industry experts. The company’s first products, designed to improve the manicuring process for flower and concentrate lines, are already being implemented by companies with measurable results.

The Comfort Trim Bag allows Bud-trimmers to work with better body support, along with standing postures, and prevents waste of plant matter. Their innovative, elastic bow Trim Scissors allow workers greater dexterity while decreasing hand cramps and wrist strain, with a focus on the carpal tunnel. 

Ergrow carries a big vision, one that brought world leaders and major agricultural producers to speak with Mr. Ritchie. When entered into the Gateway Accelerator startup competition in 2016, Ergrow landed in the Top 15% of over 200 companies from nine countries, and Brian Ritchie scored close to the top on the application’s lengthy aptitude exam. The lines of products waiting to be announced include solutions for cultivation of food and medicine on an international scale. Third-party analysis of Ergrow’s strategies and designs / IP have calculated a company value in excess of $100 million within 10 years.

Company CEO and Founder, Brian Ritchie, spent his previous career improving ergonomic work conditions for major companies and large corporations at Humanscale. After retirement, family medical issues turned his attention to medical cannabis. Ritchie then joined a Maine collective and began learning the industry from the bottom up. His keen insights into the human machine and cannabis have spawned over 40 product lines, scheduled for incremental release over the next few years.  The parent company, Brian Ritchie Designs, is already attracting partnerships with global reach.
