Scents for Survivors™ Celebrates Ribbon Cutting with Laguna Beach Chamber of Commerce
Laguna Beach, CA — Founded by Former Prosecutor and trauma-informed Attorney, Tracy Catherine Miller, Scents for Survivors™ is rooted in her decades of dedication championing wellness while walking alongside those who have endured and grown through life’s most difficult experiences. The mission embraces survivors and caregivers across many forms of hardship, including breast cancer and other serious illnesses, domestic and interpersonal abuse, bullying, post-military service trauma, autism-related challenges, and profound loss, recognizing that healing is strengthened through community and compassion.
Scents for Survivors™ will celebrate with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, February 5th, from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm, in partnership with the Laguna Beach Chamber of Commerce and hosted by a supportive local business partner at 1500 S. Coast Hwy, Laguna Beach, CA 92651.
Guests will have the opportunity to meet survivors and caregivers who helped shape and select the offerings, experience samples, and view a display of the full collection, reflecting a shared mission to empower others through comfort, connection, and hope.

A core part of the Scents for Survivors™ mission is its Partners in Peace Platform, which brings together local organizations that promote safety, healing, and well-being throughout the community. Through this platform, Scents for Survivors™ collaborates with and supports organizations dedicated to practical support, emotional recovery, and restorative experiences.
Among these Partners in Peace is Radiant Futures, which works alongside Scents for Survivors™ to help build a safer community by providing crisis support, survivor services, and education to prevent domestic violence. Together, they share a vision of a future where everyone in the community can live and thrive free from violence and harm.

Scents for Survivors™ also partners with JP’s Surf Camp, which provides inclusive, small-group surf experiences for children and adults of all abilities. This partnership reflects a shared belief in the benefits of ocean grounding and water wellness, offering centering, confidence-building experiences in a safe and supportive environment.

Another valued Partner in Peace is Doggie Daycare…And More, Inc. (Happy Tails), which supports survivors by caring for their dogs, including service and healing animals, during times of transition to safe housing, especially in situations where abusers may use pets as leverage. This partnership provides survivors with relief and reassurance, knowing their pets are safe and loved during critical moments of change.
