My name is Victoria Huff, and I’m the Events Analyst in the Unclaimed Property Division – Outreach and Compliance Unit, a division of the State Controller’s Office. We help ensure that unclaimed property in California—including uncashed checks, wages, safe deposit box holdings, etc.—is reunited with its rightful owners. To do this, we work with businesses in possession of unclaimed property and assist them with the reporting process.
 
We’d like to schedule a free webinar for you and your Chamber members that teaches businesses how to comply with California’s unclaimed property laws. A lot of business professionals might not even realize they need to report, and with the due date coming up for the first of those reports, we’re here to help you through it.
