Laguna Community Concert Band Celebrates America with Music, Memories, and a Milestone Collaboration!

The Laguna Community Concert Band is gearing up for a festive Fourth of July weekend with two performances that celebrate patriotism, community, and the joy of making music together. These free performances are included in the prices of admission.

On Monday, July 7, at Festival of Arts Laguna Beach, the concert will share the stage from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. with Laguna Tunes and the Laguna Beach community chorus. Since July 7 is Veterans Night, the concert will celebrate present and former members of our military.

The program will include Cinema Paradiso, Root Beer Rag, and Highlights from South Pacific, along with choral favorites America the Beautiful and God Bless America. The band and chorus will come together to perform the Armed Forces Salute.

A small ensemble will play patriotic and other Americana pieces at the Sawdust Art Festival on Thursday, July 4, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.
