Laguna Beach Garden Club "Gate & Garden Tour"
The Laguna Beach Garden Club will showcase nine private gardens in the town's charming Village neighborhood -- including nearly an acre of magnificent grounds at an historic home -- on its "Gate & Garden Tour," May 6, 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. The self-guided walking tour is the club's major fundraiser, with proceeds going to scholarships, school gardens and community projects. The tour will include complimentary refreshments, homemade cookies, exhibits, keepsake brochure and shuttle bus service. Plein air painters will set up easels in gardens and along the tour route. There will also be a plant sale and a raffle of prizes donated by local artists and businesses. Tickets are $45 in advance and available at www.LagunaBeachGardenClub.org. $50 tickets will be available on May 6 at the tour's starting point: Arabella Laguna Cottages, 506 North Coast Highway, Laguna.
