DESCRIPTION:The 59th annual parade will be on Saturday\, March 14\, 2026 starting at 11am. The theme for the 2026 parade is "America 250 (1776-2026)"\n\n\n\nGrand Marshal Dick Metz\n\nHonored Patriot John Connolly\n\nCitizen of the Year Michael Lindsey\n\nArtist of the Year David Nelson\n\nAthlete of the Year Brian Lopes\n\nJr. Citizens: Estella Newton and Zachary Menter\n\n \n\nHow to Participate\n\nThe Patriots Day Parade Association is a small group of dedicated volunteers. They welcome new members on their committee and are in search of volunteers to assist on the day of the parade.\n\n\n\nTo enter a group or organization to march in the parade\, or to advertise in the parade booklet\, email Sandi Werthe at shworthy@cox.net or call (949) 494-6016. The ad and entry deadline is January 16\, 2026. \n\nParade Day \n\nThis event takes place annually on the second Saturday in March. Street closures in the downtown area are typically in place from 10:00 a.m. until the parade ends close to 1:30 p.m. with additional parking restrictions in place. \n\nThe route for the parade starts at Laguna Beach High School on Park Avenue\, proceeds down Park Avenue to Glenneyre Street and turns right\, proceeds to Forest Avenue and turns right\, proceeds up Forest Avenue to City Hall\, and disperses down Ocean Avenue.\nThe Laguna Community Concert Band will be playing at 10 a.m. in the Peppertree Lot\, facing Forest Avenue\n\n\n\nBy attending this event\, you hereby consent to have your photo/likeness/recordings posted publicly in advertising and on social media by the Laguna Beach Chamber of Commerce and its partners.\n\n\n\nQuestions?
