
Mission Statement
The mission of the Laguna Beach Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors Committee is to help members learn the benefits of Chamber membership and encourage their active participation in Chamber activities.
Committee Objectives:The Laguna Beach Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Program is designed to assist with member relations by providing personal contact with Chamber members and potential Chamber members. We are responsible for the continued promotion and progress of the Chamber, which results in a healthy business and social environment for the City.
Duties/Responsibilities Of An Ambassador:
1. Act as a welcoming body for the Laguna Beach Chamber of Commerce.
2. Represent the Chamber by attending business mixers, ribbon cuttings, grand openings, groundbreakings and open houses at Chamber member companies (whenever possible). Be part of a company's ribbon cutting, ground breaking and/or company expansion. We bring our BIG pair of Chamber scissors, ribbon and camera plus two, three or more Ambassadors to help our members celebrate these occasions. A photo of the event will appear in our monthly Colony Reporter.
3. Deliver New Member plaques throughout the year. This program offers a great benefit to members of the Ambassadors Committee by providing important business contacts and networking opportunities as well as exposure and high visibility in the Laguna Beach business community.
4. Implement one-on-one contact with new Chamber members to inform them of the Chamber's programs, services, activities and benefits and encourage their active participation. This includes informing them of networking opportunities, committees and fundraisers.
5. Personally represent the Laguna Beach Chamber of Commerce in a professional manner at all times. Attend most mixers, breakfasts, functions and luncheons and assist where needed. Procure gifts for mixer raffles. Be highly visible at all Chamber events.
